Dr K.
We came as a group of 25, children included. We booked at the last minute during the season because other places couldn’t take a group that size. The pool is large and very nice, there’s a separate children’s area, and the staff were polite, helpful, and attentive. Breakfast was complimentary but only average. The bathrooms are spacious and generally good, though each had some drawbacks. The restaurant tables, chairs, and bins weren’t tidy or up to the standard I’d expect for the price. The main issue was value. We were charged a lot, perhaps because it was peak season, but the facilities and room amenities don’t justify luxury-resort pricing. The huts in particular were untidy. In the downstairs hut room, dust or powder fell through gaps in the wooden ceiling onto the bed and pillows. Its door felt flimsy and low quality, and the downstairs rooms don’t have their own washrooms, so we had to use the shared block nearby, where there was no handwash or soap. For the prices, I’d put the upper hut at a maximum of 3000, the lower hut at 1000, and a double villa room at 4000 to 5000.
