The food was delicious and comforting, a good fit for the calm hill-station feel. Kluney Manor is surrounded by lush greenery and misty hills, and it made for a refreshing break from city life. The staff were welcoming, warm, and courteous, always ready to help. Our room was spacious, clean, and well maintained, with lovely views that made mornings special. A relaxing, nature-filled stay in Ooty.

The garden out front is beautiful, and the old mansion looks wonderful in pictures. It seems to date from the 1800s, but the maintenance staff might as well have left with the British. There was a cockroach in the hairdryer, dirty cushion covers, and a stink in the restaurant. There were no room heaters, and the geysers didn’t work. The fireplace was available for only 30 minutes at an extra charge, not included in the room price. It was absolutely horrible to stay here. Such a waste of a beautiful property. It needs a more serious management team.

The rooms are really spacious, and we enjoyed the property overall. The garden is well kept, and the ambience is very good. The food was very good too, though service could be improved a little. It’s an older hotel, but we had a pleasant stay.

Our spacious vintage suite had the feel of a bygone Colonial era. The building and its surroundings are very photogenic, with 200 years of history behind them. The property is right in the heart of Ooty and convenient for getting to the town’s attractions. Food and service need improvement, but it was a fine stay.

We had a very pleasant stay. The garden was beautifully maintained and made us feel close to nature. The rooms were neat and well kept, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The resort has a lovely British vibe, and we really enjoyed the warm hospitality.
