Glyngarth Resort

The staff made us feel welcome, and they were especially kind to my little one. They even prepared a special dish, kichidi, which was a thoughtful touch. We had a wonderful stay, with excellent food and a stunning location. I'd recommend it for a peaceful family getaway.

The menu is limited, the food was below par, and it doesn't feature the fresh local produce grown around the property. Since there aren't any other restaurants nearby, this really needs improvement, especially for anyone staying longer. The views from the room and around the property were excellent and memorable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the pool was fantastic when the weather was good enough to swim.

We could hear peacocks calling in the morning and were lucky enough to spot one at a distance. There was plenty to do around the property, so we didn't need to go out. The infinity pool was the best amenity, and the food and service were top notch. Everyone made us feel welcome and at home. The resort's views and location were so picturesque I took far too many photos. Loved the stay, and I'd definitely come back :)

It felt a bit pricey for the service you get. Still, the location is awesome, with beautiful views all around and energetic staff. The weather was pleasant, and less cold than Ooty because the resort sits at a lower altitude. There aren't any nearby shops or buildings, which could be a plus or a minus depending on what you prefer.
