The manager was really nice, but the hotel is about 2 km outside Ooty, with no nearby market to spend time at. They only offer tea or coffee, plus free Wi-Fi.

The rooms we were given were very dirty and not what had been promised. We also got none of the room service we were told to expect, and they didn't provide towels, soap, or shampoo. The owner and staff shouted at us and cursed at us. I felt cheated, and I wouldn't recommend this place for a family vacation. Anyone thinking of staying here should think twice. Worst hotel in Ooty.

There are no lifts, and parking fits only about four or five cars. The hotel has no arrangements with taxi services or tour operators. It's a decent place with spacious rooms, and every room has a Western toilet. Hot water is available only in the morning, and the complimentary breakfast was just okay. It's also not centrally located.

There wasn't any drinking water provided, and you couldn't get a towel before 7 am, so getting up early wasn't practical. Hot water was available only from 6:30 to 8:30 am, and there aren't any vegetarian restaurants nearby. Parking was a problem: customers were shouted at and warned their tires would be punctured, while outside taxi drivers could park. There was no security person managing the parking.
