Lazo Silver Lake

Mr. William Gerold, who handles travel arrangements in-house, organized sightseeing around Ooty for us. He was friendly, professional, patient, and knowledgeable, and took us to several places. We had a really pleasant trip with him, and I’d recommend his service to anyone visiting. The hotel staff were courteous too, and our room was spacious, with a balcony and couch. Thanks to Mr. Gerold and the team for a wonderful stay.

That morning view of mist across the hills was beautiful. We spent two days here and booked the two-bedroom apartment, which gave us lots of room to relax. The family-friendly atmosphere suited us well. Check-in went smoothly, and the team at the travel desk was helpful in arranging a car for local sightseeing.

The breakfast was good, and Azmath Ali was very nice and kind when serving food. We booked a 2HBK villa. One room was fine, but the other bathroom had no soap, towel hanger, or soap stand. The old building is partly maintained and okay for a budget stay, though it isn’t luxurious.

Our driver Raja anna was humble and friendly, and the kids loved him. We booked a cab at the hotel through Blessings Cabs from Jerold Brother. The plan was well organized and the price was very reasonable. At Lazo Silver Lake, we had a comfortable three-night stay, with excellent service and complimentary breakfast that tasted homemade. It felt cozy and homely, more like a homestay than a hotel. I’d recommend both Lazo Silver Lake and Blessings Cabs.
