I felt there was no real sense of safety or responsibility at Hotel Sapphire Paradise, and management didn't respond. The staff acted completely unprofessionally, including an incident where a tourist was assaulted. That raises serious safety concerns for families and other travelers. I would never recommend staying here. For your own peace of mind and safety, avoid it.

The setting felt unsafe to me, and I found the staff unfriendly and unhelpful for the whole visit. That made our family trip uncomfortable from the beginning. I would urge families, couples, and especially women to avoid this hotel. I wouldn't recommend it even for a free stay, and I would never come back. It was one of my worst hotel experiences.

The service was awful. This very old hotel has no hot water for bathing, and there isn't a fan or AC in the room.

The room we walked out of didn't even have a ceiling fan, apparently because it's Ooty. The photos on Google are completely fake, so check the room before booking online. I definitely wouldn't tell people to go here.
