The view is the only reason I gave one star. For 3k per room in the last week of May, all we got was a room. There's no restaurant, and the TV only has 2-3 Tamil channels, as if tourists are expected to know Tamil. They don't provide a kettle or other basic things unless you ask.

I ran into this same sort of issue with yatra.com, agoda.com and oyo.com before. For this booking, I reserved through yatra.com on 18th April for 1st may to 3rd May, when the hotel showed as available. I called the next day because I know hotels sometimes say at the last moment that a booking wasn't confirmed. They told me it wasn't confirmed because the hotel was already booked. If it was full, why could I book it? Yatra customer care told me to cancel and rebook. The hotel blamed its booking partner, and the partner blamed the hotel, but the customer is left paying for their mistake. I'm writing this to warn others: talk to the hotel first or choose one with its own website. Don't trust the booking website.

They don't honor Agoda bookings. I finally got a room, but it was very dirty, with unclean towels and bugs in the room.

The whole place was a mess, and I've never had such a pathetic hotel experience. The rooms were dirty and extremely unhygienic; the bed linen and blankets weren't clean, and the bathroom had a foul smell. None of the facilities listed when booking were available: no kettle, telephone, front desk, food, room service, drinking water or parking. I strongly advise travelers not to book here, even if it seems like the only place left. You'd regret it for a long time.
