The room heater made loud noises that had us worried it might explode, and we couldn't sleep in one of the three rooms we booked because it was right next to the kitchen, where there was loud noise late at night. Restaurant prices were also very high for what you got. Nearly every room seemed to have a faulty lock. We couldn't properly lock our rooms when going out and had to call reception every time for help, which is a serious basic safety problem. There wasn't proper security or anyone to guide us with parking. We waited a long time for assistance, then parked the car ourselves. Only afterward did a receptionist named Guna come over, and instead of helping, he shouted at us about a simple parking issue. His behavior was extremely unprofessional. Poor management, rude staff, safety problems, and a terrible guest experience. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Mr. Vinod from the restaurant was especially polite and professional. He served us with real care and patience, and his hospitality made the experience more memorable. The restaurant food was absolutely delicious, the best quality I could find in Ooty. The hotel was excellent and the service outstanding. Highly recommended.

The people working there were so polite and soft-spoken. We had two rooms for three days, and the restaurant team were great at their jobs. They'd call to check if we needed anything. The rooms were cozy and the most comfortable I've ever come across. It was an amazing place to stay, and I really want to appreciate the hospitality. By the end, it felt like a five-star facility hotel.

The room view was awful, and I’m sharing a photo. The bedsheet had stains and the room smelled, so it didn’t feel clean or comfortable. I’d booked for two nights, but the hotel’s location also turned out to be inconvenient and not very accessible or appealing.

The city views and lovely surroundings made the location feel peaceful. The staff were attentive, warm, and always happy to help. Baron Hotel in Ooty has a nice mix of comfort and charm, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Ooty.
