Treebo Atithi Bhavan, 1 Km From Ooty Lake

The staff were humble, and the rooms were clean, roomy enough, and had the basic amenities. Breakfast was good too. Out front, the ambience was nice. The dining room could use an update to fit the look of the rest of the property, and parking is limited, as it is at most nearby places. For the price in a tourist spot like Ooty, it’s a good pick.

Getting there was difficult because there were no proper signs, so Google Maps was essential. The roads are congested and parking is minimal. There was no receptionist in the waiting area and no landline, and the service was the worst. I gave it two stars for the location and room cleanliness.

The food felt truly home-cooked, fresh and delicious, and it was served with care. We stayed yesterday with our child and friends, and I was very satisfied. The place was clean and well maintained, and the staff were incredibly helpful. I felt relaxed and at ease the whole time. Highly recommend it for a peaceful, home-like stay with great hospitality.

We booked rooms 108 and 109 through Treebo for ₹16000 for one night, or ₹8000 per room. The room size and ambience were okay, and the toilet was clean, but the mattress, pillows, and bed linen were heavily stained. There was mold all over the toilet paper, and the bathroom sink had no handle. For this price, clean bedding and a tidy, properly working room are basic things guests should be able to expect. This is just my experience, but I expected more for what we paid. I hope management improves the room quality.
