The view from Wildzest was amazing, and the stay was comfortable and refreshing. We had delicious food too. The owner was very warm and welcoming, and Mr. Prabhu handled everything smoothly. A peaceful, enjoyable getaway that I’d happily recommend.

It’s about 7km from town, which suited me since I don’t like staying in the city. I came with my family, and my wife and kid were extremely happy. We were there for two days, so I chose to stay only at Wild Zest rather than hop between places, and had no regrets. The Kallatti Road setting is very peaceful, with birdsong and mist drifting by. From our room we could see Sholur View Point clearly, and the view was fantastic. The rooms aren’t luxury, but they’re neat and clean, no complaints. Prabhu and Jacob made delicious food exactly as we asked and served us with care. The staff made us feel special. A lovely family stay for quiet, beautiful views and memories with the people you love.

We booked two rooms at Wild Zest, 10th Bend, Kalhatty, Ooty, for two days, and it was a great budget stay. We could watch bison, also called Indian Gaur, right from the property with binoculars, which made the peaceful location and mountain scenery even more special. There was car parking, tea and coffee, and an in-house kitchen serving a good breakfast and dinner. We also enjoyed the live barbeque and campfire. One of Ooty’s best budget choices for families and friends.

We stayed at Wild Zest in Kalhatty, Ooty, in December 2025. The owner, Mr. Vijay, was exceptionally kind and helpful. The home-style food was comforting and delicious, and the property was spotlessly clean and well maintained. A pleasant stay, and I’d recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Ooty.
