The view was amazing, but it wasn't enough to make the stay worthwhile. I wouldn't recommend this place, and I hope the owners make it feel worth what guests pay. We expected basic warmth and hospitality, not noise and power cuts. Getting around was stressful from the start. When I booked, I was told a caretaker would give us travel details and arrange transport. After we reached Ooty and called, we were told to make our own way to the hotel. We found an auto at the bus station, which cost over 700 rupees. We arrived early and had nowhere to wait, no restaurant, and no shared washroom where we could even wash our faces. There was no breakfast either. Getting food meant a fairly long walk to another hotel property. Sightseeing was difficult too. They said transport would be arranged, but the person cancelled at the last minute, leaving us stranded late at night. We had to return by cab, and the nearby area didn't feel like somewhere everyone would want to travel at night. The next morning I had work, but the power had been out since early morning. There was no acknowledgement or help, and the water was too cold to bathe. I had to ask more than once just to get some hot water for tea.

It was easy to relax here for a night with friends. The place is quiet and tucked away from town, and the views are lovely. We saw bison in the morning and a few boars near our room at night. Waking up to that view was a real refresh. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. There's no kitchen on site, but they arrange food from a nearby hotel, which worked well enough for us. Finding the property was the one hassle, since there aren't proper signs or directions. Still, it was a peaceful, memorable stay.

The staff made things easy: Babu called to confirm my booking from booking.com, and Property Manager Parthiban followed up on arrival day to get arrangements sorted. He helped us throughout the stay. The stay itself was pleasant, with no issues, and it's a good budget choice around Ooty if you want to be in tea estates. There are five rooms, three single and two double, all looking out over the estate. A campfire can be arranged until 9 pm for an extra charge. Wildlife may show up in the estate at night or early in the morning, so keep an eye out. There isn't a kitchen, but you can order food from about 500 m away. They have mostly North Indian and Chinese dishes. Most were good, though the biryani wasn't. Amenities were good, but there are no room heaters, so be ready for that if you're travelling with kids. This is a remote place, so don't expect all the services you'd find in town or everything to happen instantly.

The setting is lovely, quiet, and conveniently located, with a beautiful view. On the downside, parking is limited, and they don't prepare any food at the hotel, not even tea. Dear Hotel Management, please act soon to add in-house food preparation. Even basic meals and drinks would make the guest experience much better and leave a more positive impression. Without those options, visitors may come away with an unfavorable impression.

There were around ten monkeys constantly in front of our room, leaving a mess by the entrance and making the stay uncomfortable. The rooms were poorly kept, cleanliness was below average, and the staff weren't helpful or professional. There were no proper amenities or activities, and the service didn't feel worth the price. We paid ₹16,000 and it felt completely wasted. This is just an overpriced room, not a resort. Guests aren't allowed out of their rooms after 6 pm, which felt far too restrictive. There was no campfire or breakfast, and the food charges were unreasonable: ₹1000 just to prepare 10 chapatis. We didn't feel properly safe here either. A zero-star experience for us, and I wouldn't recommend booking it.
