Tea was nice, and breakfast was just okay. The rooms are cozy, the staff pleasant, and you get a peaceful view of Doddabetta peak. There isn't public transport close by, though. The market is a five-minute walk downhill, so I'd recommend it if you don't mind that walk or have your own vehicle.

The approach to the property seemed perfectly manageable to me, despite what some people have said about it being steep. The managers were polite and helpful, and after checkout they even let us use the washroom, which was thoughtful. Our room was far better than we expected for the price: a clean, comfortable, well-kept 2 BHK with a dining area and enough space for four. We had a wonderful stay at Woodberry Residency and would gladly recommend it as great value.

Manager Chandru was very nice to deal with, and the room service and food were top-grade. The location is great for getting around Ooty town, including the botanical garden and Tibetan market. Our five family members stayed for two days and found it very comfortable. I'd recommend it to friends looking for a stay in Ooty.

The location made exploring easy, with the botanical garden and city center within walking distance. We loved the spacious rooms for our family of five, and the balcony had a stunning view. The food was great, and the staff did a lot to keep us comfortable. Chandru was especially courteous and helpful, handled our needs, and surprised us with a room upgrade. We liked the service enough to extend our stay by one day.

The idly was a highlight, so soft and flavorful, and the rest of the food was fresh and delicious. Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and well kept, with a peaceful feel after sightseeing. Woodberry Residency is within walking distance of the lake and botanical garden. Chandru, Siva, and Alex were warm and treated us like family, always willing to help. We had a delightful stay and would happily come back. It seems like a welcoming choice for families and couples.
