Mizzle Resort

The property could use serious renovation and maintenance. There was a strange smell in our room, and dampness and seepage were visible throughout. It has plenty of potential, but right now it doesn't seem to be cared for properly. What stood out was the view. From our first-floor room, the sunset over Wayanad from the private balcony was one of the best we've seen. The location is great, close to the dam, and the hotel is pet-friendly. We also had a huge balcony facing lush greenery, and the pool area was beautiful for a relaxing dip.

The morning view was the only good part of our stay at Mizzle Resort. The rooms were unhygienic, in very poor shape, and badly maintained. We arrived with high expectations, but even basic hospitality standards weren't met, and the stay felt unsafe. The most serious problem was the swimming pool. Several of us were injured after going in, because of negligence and poor maintenance. One person's injuries were serious enough to require a trip to the hospital. Guest safety clearly wasn't ensured. We strongly don't recommend Mizzle Resort. Major improvements are needed in maintenance and hygiene, especially guest safety, and immediate action is required.

The view is beautiful, but that's about the only standout. The resort is average and needs work on cleanliness and upkeep. Breakfast was an average homely spread with bread and jam, banana, puttu kadala, puri, omelette, tea, and coffee.

For the price, this is the best resort I’ve stayed at, and I’d highly recommend it. The owners and staff were kind, cheerful, and welcoming. There weren't any unnecessary restrictions, and the helpers were attentive and supportive. The hospitality was amazing, and the view from the room was breathtaking.
