Hotel Pine Spring Pahalgam

The surroundings at Hotel Pine Spring, Pahalgam are beautiful, with breathtaking views. The rooms are comfortable and well kept, and looking out at the scenery made the stay even better. The hotel felt calm, clean, and refreshing. Staff were polite, cooperative, and ready to help. A comfortable place with great views and hospitality, highly recommended for a Pahalgam visit.

We had a terrible stay at Pine Spring Resort, Pahalgam on July 21, 2025. The room we got was nothing like the 225 sq.ft deluxe room we paid for. MakeMyTrip had shown clear photos and room details, but the room given to us was tiny, definitely under 100 sq.ft. When we complained after check-in, staff admitted the actual room was under renovation. They said this was noted on their own website, but our booking was through MakeMyTrip, where no such information appeared. The platform showed a room size and photos that were misleading. Management wouldn't take responsibility. They refused to cancel the booking or work with MakeMyTrip on a refund, leaving us to sort it out ourselves. We spent over 5 hours at reception trying to get help from MakeMyTrip, which was extremely difficult to reach. The hotel then falsely claimed we'd used the room to deny a refund. With no other choice, we called local police, who came to help resolve things. Only after they intervened did the hotel agree to send refund approval to MakeMyTrip. The whole thing felt like a scam, with misleading listings, no accountability, and poor handling of customers. If a room is being renovated, it shouldn't be listed with false specifications. Avoid this hotel at all costs. It wasn't worth the stress, time, or money, and there are far better and more honest places to stay in Pahalgam.

We asked them to pack breakfast because we were checking out early, and they kindly prepared it the night before for us to eat the next morning. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The view was awesome, and when we stayed from 8th to 10th December, we saw light snowfall.

The nights can get quite cold even in May-June, so pack accordingly. We had a memorable stay at Hotel Pine Springs, thanks to the staff's hospitality and the peaceful setting. The hotel is at the higher end for price, which may matter to budget travelers, but the service and serene atmosphere made it worthwhile for me. The location is superb, with breathtaking views of the landscape, while still being conveniently located. The rooms were clean, and the attentive staff were always ready to help with a friendly smile. Service was excellent. Meals at the restaurant were delicious, though I found the prices a bit high. I thought the food was worth the expense.
