I stayed at your guest house for 11 nights, and my experience fell well below what I expected. The room wasn't clean or well kept: the walls were dirty and needed painting, and the bathroom was poorly maintained. I also had trouble with the front desk. My online booking included free Wi-Fi, but when I asked twice for the password, both receptionists refused to give it and didn't explain why. After 11 nights, I asked to use the room briefly in the evening to freshen up before travelling, since I had left early for work. Instead, I was told I had to book and pay for another night. I feel they could have shown more flexibility and courtesy given how long I had stayed. This wasn't the hospitality I expected. I hope management takes the feedback seriously and improves guest care.

The host confirmed our booking and took the money, but while we were travelling from Coonoor to the property, we got a message saying it was “not confirmed.” My husband had to call to find out what was going on. The host mentioned water problems, yet the property was still listed as having vacancies for tonight. He didn't help us find somewhere else to stay. For our dates, every available place was many kilometres from Palakaad, and we're relying on public transport. I'm very unhappy that we've been left with nowhere to stay tonight.

The room was good and no-frills for the price I paid. I stayed one night and needed to bring my own bedsheets and mosquito coils. The KSRTC Stand is about a five-minute walk from the guesthouse.

Foreigners aren't allowed to stay at this hotel, even if they've booked in advance and already paid. The other hotels around the bus station also wouldn't let foreigners stay.

The only real plus is how close it is to the bus stand. The room, shower, walls, and bedspreads were all unclean, and there was no hot water or blanket. Even at its supposedly budget price, it isn't worth it and I wouldn't recommend it.
