We booked and paid in full through one of the top portals, then travelled 4 hours from Mcleodganj with a kid. The management threatened to call the police and make us leave, saying they came from powerful families. The owner takes online bookings at will, then refuses them at will, saying they got a better deal and the hotel is full. It felt like pure shady dealings, run like a desi lala hotel at someone's whims and fancies. There was no professional reception or service, and from what we could see, the property was ill-maintained. A very poor, traumatic experience.

I stayed one night in this hotel in Feb month 2026, and they gave me only a single quilt, with no blanket. The bill they issued had no check-in or check-out time and no stamp. When I asked them to correct it after I submitted it, they didn't. I followed up with their representatives many times, but nothing happened. A week later, they asked me to submit the original bill copy. Very poor customer service. Please improve.

They catered to my every whim and left me feeling pampered in luxury. At Fresco Hotel and Residences in Palampur, the rooms are opulent and tastefully designed, with the modern amenities needed for a comfortable, lavish stay. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful mountain views and green scenery, a welcome break from city life. Dining was a delight, with a lavish range of options and beautifully presented, delicious dishes. The restaurant staff were gracious and attentive, making each bite memorable. I highly recommend Fresco Hotel and Residence for a luxurious, rejuvenating mountain getaway.
