OYO 74708 The Paradise

Someone made me stay here, and it was highly unhygienic, with webs, mosquitoes, and dirty sheets. There's no cloakroom to leave your luggage after checkout while you go around and collect it later, so I had to spend 1000 bucks to store my bags. The staff were very evasive and wouldn't provide a mosquito refill despite several requests. They only showed professionalism when it suited them.

The beds were comfortable, and the room had a Western-style toilet, geyser, AC and TV. There are sliding windows with a curtain inside, so remember to lock them from the inside. Nice staff, and the price felt fair.

The hygiene and ambience both need work, so I’d only stay here if I specifically needed to be in this location. There’s also the OYO payment issue: they say OYO doesn’t pass along guests’ online payments, and may refuse your stay if you’ve paid online. Call the hotel or book through OYO without paying online.

The staff are slow and the service isn’t up to standard. Also be careful with the lift, it doesn’t work properly and could be dangerous. It’s an ordinary hotel in Allahabad City, though you could consider it for a function if other venues aren’t available.
