That anniversary surprise was such a thoughtful touch. We spent two days at RS Sarovar Portico, Palampur to celebrate our 11th anniversary, and they gave us complimentary cakes. The team was warm and courteous from the moment we arrived, and they looked after all the little details. We were also impressed by the 7th-floor revolving restaurant, with its 360-degree views over the mountains and city, and enjoyed both the food and the scenery. Money isn’t the main thing for us when the hospitality, personal service, and memories are this good. A peaceful, premium stay in Palampur, and one we’d recommend to couples, families, or anyone looking for that kind of getaway.

The room view was a nice part of the stay. I was in 424, with a partial road view and a partial view of the Dhauladher range. I stayed two nights in December 25 and got an attic bed after an upgrade. The staff were polite and the service standards were good. There are two food options, a revolving restaurant and a cafe on the 2nd floor. The breakfast buffet was good, though refills took a little longer with the crowd. No big deal. The tea, on the other hand, was very mild and watery.

The food and the mountain views stood out. We had tasty food and great service at the Revolving Restaurant, and the inhouse Terrace View Cafe on level 2 also served very good quality food with an Amazing Mountain View. Our rooms were really nice and clean, and the staff were helpful and cooperative. The stay and hospitality were excellent. If you’re around Bir-Billing and looking for a luxurious stay, this place is definitely worth a visit. We had a memorable time.

Sarovar Portico Palampur made my sister’s wedding feel special, with serene mountain surroundings and lovely views. Mr. Manjeet Singh, Food & Beverage Manager, and Mr. Naresh, Front Office Manager, deserve a special thank you for their warmth, professionalism, and coordination. They took care of the details from planning through the event, which kept everything smooth for our family and guests. The spacious rooms were ultra-luxurious and beautifully maintained, with stunning views too. The food was delicious, the hospitality was great, and the location was perfect. It was an unforgettable experience, and I’d recommend the hotel for a destination wedding or other celebration.

Mr. Ajay Katoch, the head chef, put together a menu that suited our needs, and Mr. Ashoke Ganguly and his whole team took care of the details. Their warmth and professionalism made our guests feel welcome. We celebrated our wedding here, and everything from the food to the service felt perfect. It was an unforgettable experience. I’d recommend the hotel for an event or a stay.
