The bunk I got wasn’t ventilated enough, and the bed quality would have stopped me from staying overnight. At 300 per night it was acceptable for what I needed: I had a couple of hours’ work and used the place to shower and store my things. Check the bunk before you decide. Whether it suits you is a personal call.

Very disappointing. Mosquitoes and bedbugs were so irritating I couldn’t sleep even five minutes. Maintenance was awful, there was no water or hot water, and I didn’t feel safe. I also lost my mobile charger. There were so many problems. Once you’ve paid, they don’t give the money back, so think before checking in.

No AC. There are lots of beds crammed in with hardly any space, and the fans are very handy. It wasn’t comfortable, and the bathroom was dirty.

One of the cheapest dorms around, handy if you’ve got a bus to catch the next morning or after a few hours. Finding it is tough, though. The map pin should mark the entrance, not the backyard, and signs need to guide you along the way rather than only being at the dorm. To get there, take the lane between 'Nut Inn' and the 'Sai Baba Temple'. It’s on the left after about 15 steps, past an unmaintained open area.

Goa Tourist Dormitory was a waste of money for me, and 300 doesn’t feel cheap for this experience. I stayed at Parekh on the 20th, my first day in Goa, then at Goa tourist dormitory on the 21st. At Parekh, which is a short walk away and near the casinos, it was clean and had AC for 500. At Goa Tourist Dormitory there were bed worms, many mosquitoes, and one toilet for 50 beds. I slept no more than four hours all night because of the bed worms and mosquitoes. Worst dormitory. Don’t go to Goa Tourist Dormitory. Parekh is best. All the best.
