Roshan Villa by OYO Rooms

The rooms were decent, but there were a lot of mosquitoes around because the hotel is surrounded by trees, so keep the windows closed. At the counter, the manager was reluctant and arrogant, saying he couldn't see our booking. When I asked him to refresh, he said okay. Then he refused to help with my luggage, saying they don't offer that service. His manner was very rude and he treated us badly. Avoid this place if you don't want poor treatment.

I was refused check-in because I’d booked the room at a lower than usual price. The manager was rude about it, which is completely out of place in hospitality. The building is old and poorly maintained. Avoid this place; it needs better management, or to be blacklisted.

The surroundings are quiet, and the hotel is close to church view corner. It worked well for a family, and hot water was available, though our room smelled quite bad, perhaps because of poor ventilation. The manager or counter staff greeted us with a bad attitude and should have been more considerate of a family with a small baby. After two days, the other staff were friendly and helpful. Convenient place to stay overall.

The hotel is about a kilometer from the main Panjim Church, in a quiet area. Getting back at night felt a little scary in September because the street lights were off. The bathroom was okay, but I didn't find the bedsheets clean. It's a budget hotel, so I guess you can't expect much.
