The location is secluded and far from markets. There's not even tea nearby, let alone restaurants, so you'd have to rely on Zomato, Swiggy and similar services unless you have your own vehicle. Without one, there isn't a taxi, bus, or rickshaw within 1-2 kms, and Rapido, Ola and similar services don't operate in Goa. The building feels like a residence turned into a makeshift hotel, with a couple of untidy, very basic rooms and old-fashioned furnishings. Even local inns (dharamshalas) look better, and the reception area is something to see. It's a cheap option for budget-conscious tourists or students, but I'd suggest finding another place or your trip could be spoiled.

I felt uncomfortable as soon as I entered. The room was covered in dust, with torn sheets and very dirty pillows. The bathroom was filthy, and I'm sure it hadn't been cleaned for at least a week. The stained floor was slippery, and the shower didn't work. The promised balcony was just a door frame with broken glass. Another door on the other side of the building led to the terrace, so anyone could easily enter the room. I didn't feel safe at all. After I complained, they offered another room, but it felt like a cave and was just as bad, so I decided to stay in the first one. Absolutely the worst experience.

The photos online gave a completely misleading impression. Our room smelled of mold, and there were mold spots on the curtains too. The towels looked unwashed, with lipstick and other awful stains. The bathroom was filthy, covered in stains and limescale, and the flush barely worked. We could only get a cold shower. Even the stairway was in terrible shape, dirty and stained everywhere. This was the worst accommodation we've ever stayed in, and I can't understand how it's still open. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The rooms are roomy and comfortable to sleep in, and the amenities were kept up well. The staff were especially friendly and attentive, which made the stay even better. With everything clean and the location so good, this place felt like terrific value. A great choice for a memorable getaway.
