I’ve stayed here many times over a long period, on different dates. The location is the main advantage, and hot water in the bathroom usually wasn’t a problem. I also have to salute the older lady who handles all the room cleaning and washrooms. She has no helpers. There are a lot of drawbacks. At reception, the middle-aged man never seemed to smile or show much empathy when guests arrived. The owner could raise the standard with a basic investment in new pillows. The ones here look so bad that the photos would make you sick, and pillows can be a health concern. The bedsheets are another issue. Many AC units work, but a lot are missing ducts or flaps. Online, MakeMyTrip showed prices of around 1500 for one person and 1800 for two, approximately. It’s your call whether to stay, but I’d bring my own pillow and bedsheet.

I was put in Room No. 201, where I had a horrifying experience. Whenever someone upstairs flushed the toilet, dirty water and sludge burst out of the bathroom outlet like a fountain. The property is very old, and the furniture, linen, and general atmosphere feel dated too.

The room and bedsheet were very dirty and smelled bad. It’s an old property, though the location is convenient for seeing Panjim. The Reception Manager was very rude and treated us like we’d come as free guests. The owner will lose customers day by day if guests are treated this way.

It’s a pretty old building, at least 25 years old, so don’t expect modern amenities. Still, it’s nice.

The rooms weren’t well maintained, and breakfast came to the room with limited choices even though the charge was included and high. The receptionist was very rude and didn’t know how to speak to customers.
