We were lucky enough to see a peacock dancing right beside our room. The food was homely and comforting, and the staff were always ready to help and serve us. Anandvan Holiday Homes is the best property in the nearby area, with warm hospitality throughout. It’s a lovely place to spend time with your loved ones and leave smiling. I’ll definitely visit again. Highly recommended.

The staff were excellent and the service was very good. We felt at home during our visit. The food, including how it was served, was excellent too. A few room details need attention: the rooms themselves are fine, but clean doormats should be provided. The bathroom doors are transparent glass, which doesn’t feel safe or private, and they should be replaced with non-glass doors. Bathrooms also need exhaust fans and better ventilation. Good quality soap, shaving kits, and dental kits should be available. Breakfast and dinner hours felt too short for families coming to relax. With the price being charged, these items should be covered to make it feel worthwhile.

The rooms and washrooms were neat, and the service and food were good. The place itself is nice, but keep in mind it’s a holiday home with rules posted everywhere, not a resort. That made a few guests in my group, who are used to hotels and resorts, a bit uneasy. If you plan to drink, ask reception where a get-together is allowed so it doesn’t cause confusion or make other guests uncomfortable. Connectivity is a real issue. Jio and Vi have no mobile signal there, while Airtel is very weak. If you need to work, think it over. They said a few rooms and reception have Wi-Fi, but it isn’t available in the rooms generally, which seems like a basic thing to have. Meals are buffet only, and none are served in the room. Breakfast ends at 10 am, lunch at 2:30 pm, and dinner at 10:30 pm. A few guests were upset by repeated reminders that lunch stops after 2:30. I’d eat out if you’re going out anyway, and wouldn’t add food to the package. One more thing, don’t sit or stand under the coconut trees. A branch and two coconuts fell inches from our table at night. Nature’s unpredictable, but it was close.

The dining service was excellent, and we enjoyed the food. There’s room to improve the cleanliness in the rooms, and they should provide a fan as well as the AC. Still, Anandvan was a good option for a couple of days, especially if you want good food.
