OYO 15486 Hotel New Diamond

The rooms were dirty, the linens smelled, and there was an electric current in the bathroom tap. The AC only worked at 28°C, and they lock the remote so guests can't lower the temperature. On top of that, this is the first hotel I've come across that turns away online bookings and asks for extra money. Worst hotel ever, I'm being honest. I'm attaching pictures for reference. Don't go here.

A friend suggested new diamond, and I didn't expect it to be this good. The rooms were clean, the staff humble and respectful, and the food was enough in both quality and quantity. The room rates are reasonable, and it's a good place to stay. If I come to Panchkula again, I'd stay here.

When you book a room through oyo, they show you the worst room and then ask for extra money to change it. The service is terrible. Don't fool people.

The rooms shown on Oyo's website were nothing like what we got. Oyo customers were put in tiny, smelly basement rooms without even a ceiling fan, while they asked us for 1600 per room to get rooms with a fan. Oyo customer support didn't help either. This was the worst hotel you could book. Don't stay here even if it's the last one near Chandigarh.
