Super Townhouse Eastern View Formerly Vihaan Residency

The open outdoor area was a relaxing spot, and the room was clean and comfortable. Staff were cooperative and quick with the service. I had a really pleasant stay and would recommend the hotel.

The lift felt unsafe to use. It smelled, seemed poorly maintained, and jerked and made noises while running. Its safety features seemed compromised, a serious concern in a multi-story property, especially for guests with mobility challenges or on higher floors. The bathroom was another major problem. It had a persistent foul odor that remained after I complained several times, and there seemed to be mold or moisture issues. The bedding was visibly stained and smelled unpleasant, as if the sheets, pillows, and quilts hadn’t been properly washed between guests. Rest was impossible, and it raised hygiene concerns. There was no hot water for bathing. Management blamed electricity fluctuations, but even though a working generator was on site, the manager refused to start it after guests complained. That left us without a basic amenity because management wouldn’t address the issue. Their response to all the problems was dismissive and unhelpful, with excuses instead of corrective action or concern. The room itself was visibly dirty on arrival, with dust on surfaces and stains on the floor. The place felt neglected and uncomfortable from check-in, so I had to escalate the matter to management. OYO Hotel Vihaan Residency in Zirakpur fell far below acceptable hospitality standards, with serious hygiene problems, inadequate infrastructure, and little regard for guest safety and comfort. I strongly advise against booking Hotel Vihaan Residency.

Mr Shivam deserves 5 stars. He made sure we got breakfast and cold water when there was a bathroom issue. The room wasn’t good, and the property needs major renovation. Also, its Google location is wrong.

The staff didn’t seem well informed about guest arrivals. The rooms also aren’t properly maintained, and I have doubts about the hygiene.
