The AC in our AC room wasn't working, and staff weren't supportive. They also asked for extra money for housekeeping. A very bad stay, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

You have to ask for everything here. There was no blanket, toilet soap, or dustbin in the room.

Patukottai mess sounds like a big name, but the food we had during our journey was among the worst. Whether you're a food lover, hungry, or just looking for something to eat, please don't step inside. It's just the worst.

Watch out for the Rs 999 room sign outside. That rate is for 12 hours, and they don't tell you until check-in. They also add GST, making it Rs 1,300 for 12 hours or Rs 1,800 for 24 hours. They tend to reveal these extra details only when you arrive, so don't be misled by the big billboard.

The receptionist was rude, and the service was awful for the money. The toilet flush didn't work properly, the beds were unclean, and the extra bed was in terrible condition. Room doors didn't close properly, so there was less security. A total waste of money, and I don't recommend staying here.
