The City Villa's backyard had so many bushes and overgrown patches that we didn't feel comfortable using it, given the worry about snakes or insects. A more open lawn with fewer bushes would be better. Around 7 PM the parking area also got very dark and could use more lighting. At the restaurant, a few staff seemed to wait for plates while we were still eating, which made us feel a little rushed on a couple of occasions, though not everyone did this. Slightly more reasonable prices would improve the value. The property itself was well maintained, with a very good atmosphere and hospitality. Reception was excellent: whenever we called, they responded and helped quickly. The food was tasty, and overall we had a pleasant, well-managed stay, rated 4 out of 5.

The food was too expensive, but otherwise we had a nice stay and felt completely at peace. The location by the lake is awesome, with lovely natural views. The kids enjoyed fishing and the swimming pool, and the plantation tour was very good.

The direct-booking payment terms were a little inconvenient: we had to pay the full amount upfront, with no partial payment, advance option or pay-at-hotel choice. Still, we truly enjoyed our stay at Anantya by the Lake Resort. We had three rooms for three families, and the property was beautiful, well maintained and relaxing, with excellent food and facilities. The staff were welcoming, courteous and cooperative throughout. I'd been a little concerned by reviews about staff behavior before arriving, but our experience was the opposite and wonderful in every way. Apart from that payment arrangement, everything was perfect, and we'd recommend it for a peaceful, memorable getaway.

The lake view from our room was absolutely awesome, and the service was exceptional throughout my stay at Anantya Resort. Shalini from housekeeping kept the room spotless, and Krishna at reception was friendly and resourceful. I had a wonderful time and highly recommend the resort for its views and hospitality.

Cycling, swimming and petting animals kept my six- and three-year-old children busy the whole time. We were there for three days as a family, and even got the rain I had hoped to see on an April visit. The greenery was in full bloom, with lotuses and lilies everywhere, fitting the theme. It's a beautiful, nature-filled place with lovely hospitality and amazing food. I kept wondering how we'd missed it for so long. Well maintained, eco-friendly and worth the money.
