Fragrant Nature Backwater Resort & Ayurveda Spa

Our team had a great day out at Fragrant Nature Resort. Krishna and Aswini were excellent hosts from the start, taking care of the team and working around our last-minute requests. Hospitality was a full 100. The spacious, beautifully maintained property has top-notch facilities for group activities and relaxing, giving us the ideal place to unwind and bond. Looking forward to the next one!

The boat safari and the views were amazing, and the surroundings were so relaxing and soothing. Ms. Greeshma gave us a lovely welcome. The food was really good too, kudos to the chefs and to niveda, anandu and serin. We also tried the spa treatment, which really helped calm our minds. Thanks to Dr. Reji and Shiva chechi for the great service. A beautiful experience overall, and I'd definitely recommend it.

We had a refreshing, peaceful family break at Fragrant Nature Backwater Resort & Ayurveda Spa. Both villas, one facing the lake and the other facing the opposite, pool-side area, were spotless, spacious, and beautifully maintained. From the time we arrived, the staff were kind, welcoming, and very accommodating, and the whole experience felt close to a premium five-star stay. The boat ride through the mangroves was a real highlight, peaceful and beautiful, and the person leading it explained the nature and surroundings in an engaging way. The setting is scenic and calm, good for walks and family time, and the pool was neat and very well looked after. At the spa we had a 15-minute head and shoulder massage. It was short, but relaxing and experiential. Special thanks to Reji, the main spa manager, who was warm, professional, and extremely kind. It would be even better with more premium recreation facilities and a bigger menu selection. A lovely stay we'd recommend to anyone looking for peace among nature. Thank you.

We came back to India for the first time in four years and had planned a special one-day family getaway at Fragrant Nature Resort last Friday. We chose it over Raviz at a similar price because we wanted to try somewhere new. Instead, the day was a frustrating waste of time and money, and the service was far below what we expected for the price. The property itself has potential, but management needs to take customer service and operations more seriously. Before we arrived around 2:30 PM, we called to ask if lunch would still be available and were told yes. Check-in was officially at 2:00 PM, but our rooms were still being prepared when we got there, so we went to the restaurant. The buffet was over, and we ordered à la carte. They said the food would take about 50 minutes, which already seemed absurd. One room was only ready around 3:30 PM, and our food didn't come until after 4:30 PM, nearly two hours after we ordered. We saw people who arrived after us get served first. When we asked about the wait, we were told the restaurant was very busy. For a stay under 24 hours, every hour matters. Spending so much of it waiting first for a room and then for a meal was simply unacceptable. If the property can't handle the number of guests, it shouldn't keep taking reservations without maintaining service standards. The delays took a lot out of our stay, leaving little to look forward to, and a getaway meant to be relaxing became a frustrating experience. The delayed meal was also put on the final bill. I questioned it, and only then was the amount adjusted. Given what happened, they should have dealt with that proactively. For the money, this was very poor value. Our past stays at Raviz have consistently been seamless and memorable, and in retrospect, I wish we'd spent the same amount there.
