Hotel Crown Palace

I arrived for the first time today, 15th July'25, and booked five days for a business trip. The hotel is poorly maintained and basic cleanliness is missing. The room smelled, the floor wasn't cleaned, and dust and hair were visible everywhere, possibly from the previous guest. They hadn't changed the bedsheet, and the carpet looks like it hasn't been washed in ages. The toilet was the worst part, unclean after the last person checked out, and the jet spray doesn't work.

Please avoid this hotel. It was my worst stay. The room was filthy, with stained sheets, a foul smell, and garbage under the bed. The bathroom was even worse, with mold everywhere and dirty towels. The staff were rude and unhelpful, acting like they didn't care about guests. When I complained about the room, they ignored me and did nothing to fix it. This place is completely unhygienic and not worth the money.

The manager was friendly and quite helpful, and the food was OK. But the sheets were filthy, so we had to change rooms because staff chose to move us instead of bringing clean ones. The TV didn't work at all. When we asked staff to fix it, they shrugged and said the batteries weren't working and they'd sort it in the morning, which wasn't useful for a one-night stay. The room felt claustrophobic, with no windows or natural light, just a tiny barred bathroom window. There was no hot water for the shower, and supplies were very limited: minimal soap and shower gel, and no shampoo.

The property is down a very narrow lane where it's hard to drive, and there's no hotel parking. Staff don't know how to handle bookings and are very unprofessional with service. They also don't know basic customer-welcoming manners. MakeMyTrip charged 3000 for only 3 hours here, which wasn't worth it at all.
