Hotel Grand Nishat

The staff were friendly, the rooms were superb, and the food tasted good. They serve it in traditional dishes. Be sure to try the tea, it’s one of the best. It’s good value for money, though the hotel is set back from the main road.

There are lots of food places nearby, and the staff are very polite, warm and helpful. It’s okay for a solo stay.

The staff were friendly and polite, and the linen and bathroom were clean. That’s what earns the three stars. Finding the place is difficult, and taxi drivers don’t know the hotel. There were buffaloes and cows around it, with a strong dung smell. Breakfast was late despite repeated reminders, so I had to leave with just two slices of bread. If you’re visiting Patna as a tourist, you may want to skip it. I stayed because it was only for one night and my relative was in a hospital within walking distance.

The hotel can prepare food, and there’s a large dining hall in the basement. For a large group, try the top floor rooms, they’re the best. There’s a big park nearby, and this is a better place than most in Patna. Great accommodation.
