OYO 82602 Hotel P Shahi

Even after accepting a booking and letting you enter at reception, they may say there’s no vacant room, bring up another rule at night, and tell you to leave. OYO customer care didn’t reply by phone, chat, or email. This was the worst experience, after problems with OYO hotels on my last 3-4 bookings. Don’t trust the ratings, they’re fabricated. I’ll never book through OYO again.

Edit 1: An OYO representative got back to me on time, and I was able to contact the hotel about my booking again. They cooperated this time, as they should have from my first call. I’ll update with anything else that happens. I gave it one star, though I’d have given zero if that were an option. I called the receptionist about my booking for 29 December, 2022, and they asked for about ₹500 extra to confirm the room. They used my payment details and the importance of my exam to disregard their earlier agreement with OYO. I’ll contact OYO with recordings of the representative and update this review as things develop, including after I check in.

I was here for four days and had a great stay. The rooms were spacious, nice, and clean, and the staff were good. The owner was helpful too whenever I needed something. I ate vegetarian food, and it was very good. I can’t speak for the non-veg, though I think that would be good too. Nice locality...

There aren’t any windows in the rooms, and the AC was in very poor condition. The location is remote and far from the main area. They didn’t accept my OYO payment because of some issue with OYO, so I ended up paying much more than the price I’d seen on OYO.
