Ghar Aangan Resort

I was only there as a visiting guest, so I can't speak to the rooms or pricing. The vintage-style interior gives the resort a stunning feel, especially walking down the alley toward the centre stage. The decor and food were both good, and there's a pool as well. I'd strongly recommend it for a wedding or reception.

I've been here several times for parties and functions, and it's been an amazing experience each time. The resort is easy to find in a prime location, with plenty of space that can be arranged to suit the event. The food is superb and the arrangements are excellent. A wonderful place for a party or gathering. Kudos to the team.

For a wedding or any special occasion, I wouldn't choose this resort. The location and resort-like feel are good, and the lower management staff, everyone except the lady manager Poonam Pandey, were decent and willing to help. There's a good variety of food, though it tasted average. The rooms were in an unbelievably bad state, with fewer facilities than you'd get at a lodge. It's overpriced for what it offers, they ignore even small requests, and the service is zero. The decline seems tied to Poonam Pandey's unethical management and unprofessional behavior. She doesn't know how to speak properly. After paying in full, I felt they would try to con you in every possible way and leave you and your guests insulted. Please keep your special occasion stress-free and don't host it here. I was so angry with her that I said I would have turned her face into pulp if she weren't a lady. She's as irritating and cunning as her name, Poonam Pandey.

After paying that much for a day, dealing with the challenges and feeling insulted, along with my guests and family, didn't seem worth it. I heard this resort was supposed to be the last option, but I don't think it's worth even that. I'd rather postpone or look elsewhere than pay in full and be treated this way. Manager Amar seems focused on the resort's image and on staying in the owners' good graces, but whether it's about saving costs or something else, his answers to all my questions above weren't satisfactory. Maybe it's fine for small functions, but based on what I faced, I don't think it's a good choice.
