I booked a Collection O Dwell room through Oyo for two days and paid ₹1,200 there. At the hotel, receptionist Mr. More demanded a balance and told me to pay or leave. He didn't know how to speak to or handle a guest. I raised the issue with Oyo customer service and left, losing the first day's charge. I got the second day's amount back. I'd read that other customers had faced this too, but overlooked it. It's true. If you still want to book, don't pay in advance. Check with the receptionist and look at the room first, then pay. I've attached a photo of the receptionist.

OYO's helpline was useless. They wouldn't refund my money or help, only saying they were discussing it and would get back to me. You can lose both time and money: some hotels on their list are closed or don't exist at the listed address, and you find out only after travelling there. Don't book through OYO. They advertise a cheaper offer, but when you reach the hotel, they say that room isn't available at that price and ask you to pay more.

The rooms were really bad and smelled unpleasant. I booked through OYO, but the hotel had its own policies and wouldn't accept the OYO price when I arrived. They asked me to pay extra.

After paying 1,200 rupees, we had no electricity or water. The non-AC wasn't working and the fan didn't work either. Service was terrible. This place is just a harassment center.
