The restaurant was the bright spot: the food was awesome, with a rich variety, and the restaurant staff were good. The hotel itself was a bad experience. The manager, reception, service staff, and rooms were shabby, and I got stuck in the lift at least four times in one day with no backup. Nobody from the service staff seemed to check on me. They simply moved me to the old building for the same price. Renovation was going on outside the room, and they asked with a poker face why I was bothered since dust wasn't entering my room. Substandard.

The rooms and facilities didn't live up to what was advertised online, and the service fell far short of even basic standards. During the stay, staff were rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful. Requests went ignored, management showed no concern, and coordination was poor. Given the price, I expected respectful treatment and better service, but hospitality was missing. Extremely disappointing, not worth the money. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable or premium stay.

May 12, 2026. We reached around 7:45-8 PM after a 10-hour drive and found both hotel buildings completely dark. There was no power, no records, and no way to check in. People were leaving the restaurant, and we spent 30 minutes hearing that the problem would be fixed soon. We ended up driving around and eating dinner at 11 PM. Later, they called to say the power was back and offered a “complimentary” dinner, which came far too late. Our booking only included the room and breakfast. The next morning, the power went out again for 15-20 minutes, so we had to walk down five floors for breakfast. There was no toilet for the driver anywhere in the hotel, and staff directed him to our room. We let him freshen up when we checked out, but that really isn’t acceptable for a hospitality business. Check-in itself was a mess, with maintenance work disrupting every hallway. The room was average and the bedding was poor. Maintenance should be done in phases, by floor or section. With all the blackouts, this place isn’t worth the price or the hype. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The location made it easy to get around Pune, and the staff were polite and quick to help. Our room was spacious, clean, and well kept, so we had a comfortable stay. Nice hospitality overall. I’d recommend it for a family trip or a business stay.

It’s a quiet place, and the rooms are cozy. I liked having a covered balcony because it gives you a bit of the outdoors while still feeling indoors. There’s also a gym for anyone who wants to keep up their routine. A nice option for an official visit.
