OYO 76518 Hotel Regent In

The location was convenient, with nearby attractions and transport easy to reach, and the staff were friendly and quick to help. My room was clean, comfortable, and had the amenities I needed. I had a hassle-free, enjoyable stay at this OYO property and would recommend it. Five stars.

There were mosquitoes everywhere, and the All Out Machine had an empty cartridge. The bottle of water tasted funny, and its label had been torn off. Half the lights didn’t work, the AC barely cooled, and the TV had hardly any subscribed channels. The bathroom had no hot water or toiletry kit, and there wasn’t a towel until I asked, when they gave me a stained, unclean one. The linen and pillowcases were still stained when I arrived, so they clearly hadn’t been changed. Extremely disappointing, and my last time using an Oyo room.

I’ve never had a worse experience, and I usually don’t write reviews. The room itself wasn’t an issue, but my four days there were horrible. On the third day, I found out the hotel was adding 37% extra tax to the food. When I asked for a bill, they showed me a consolidated slip that only said "Restaurant", with no itemized food details or tax clarity. They were buying food from some restaurant and charging double tax on it. They also added service tax for eating in the room, on top of GST. I argued with the manager, but nothing got resolved. Since I was with my family, I ended up accepting their terms and leaving calmly. The staff were completely unprofessional. Please check all charges with reception before booking. I’m never coming back, and I’ll make sure none of my friends or relatives book this place.

The rooms are decent and clean, though they could be more spacious. Service was nice, quick, and responsive, and the prices were acceptable. It’s a practical budget hotel with a fine mix of amenities, very close to Tata motors, Thermax, and other companies.
