The room was tiny, nowhere near the double room we were told we'd get, and they charged us 2k. It wasn't clean, and the bathroom was awful, with a bad smell and rust everywhere. I wouldn't recommend this place for families.

Bon Stay worked well for my three-week project nearby. My room was clean, got plenty of sunlight, and had a side window where I could watch the sunrise. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I found it a good option for a longer stay. The rooms at similar rates vary a lot, though. I was lucky with mine, but my friend got one so small she could only open her suitcase on the bed, and its only window faced the corridor. I’d ask for a front-facing room. Also, the rubbish outside the hotel should be cleared; it doesn't match the clean interiors.

I stayed here for a couple of days last week. It felt safe, so I recommend it for families.

The area is quiet and within walking distance of both the beach and the city center. My room was nice, with AC, a fan, and decent Wi-Fi, and the staff provided outstanding service. There’s also a comfortable seating area at reception with English Indian newspapers. A very good hotel for its category, highly recommended.

The location was a big plus, close to the Puducherry bus stand and railway station, as well as beaches including Rock Beach and serenity beach. My room was clean and good, and I felt the stay was great value for money. The staff were polite and took care of whatever I needed without me having to ask twice. I could rely on them, and they made sure my needs were met.
