I found the place on Goibibo, and the room was neat, with a balcony, swings, and a terrace where you can relax. It’s a great place to stay in Pondi, close to the Railway Station, New light house, mangroovs boating, and Paradise beach. Mr Benny takes care of all the guests. I really recommend it.

We had a very nice stay. The rooms are spacious, the bed was great, and it was clean, safe, friendly, and quiet at night. Staff were attentive and professional. Breakfast cost 300 rupees and was very good on the lovely balcony. It’s also not far from the town centre, and the price wasn’t high.

It was a good stay, though for 7000 rupees a day, they could at least include breakfast.

Benny and his staff made the stay feel more like visiting friends than being a guest. Benny sorted out an airport transfer, a SIM card, my onward night bus, and a four-hour trip to places outside Pundicherry I wouldn't have found by myself. He even made me a lovely coffee. My room was large and comfortable, with a fan and fridge, strong AC in the bedroom, and plenty of hot water. I stayed February 7-10, 2025, and would have no hesitation telling people this is a great place to stay.

There was no parking, despite it being mentioned, so we had to leave the car on the next road and it got damaged. The place was very dusty, dirty, and unhygienic, and there is no lift. I wouldn't recommend it for families or senior citizens. Le Pondy and this guest house are the same, and we stayed at both.
