The help desk was great at guiding us about places to see, and the hotel is centrally located near the main spots. We were happy with the service and would stay again. There was plenty of parking, the food was good, and breakfast included a nice range of dishes. Our room was spacious and clean, and the courteous staff responded quickly when we needed room service. Pavilion, one of the closest EV fast charging points, is just 1 km away.

The food was good, though dinner service took a little while. Breakfast wasn't a huge buffet, but it was decent and had enough choices to start the day. Our room was spacious and well maintained, with the promised toiletries and amenities all supplied and working. The hotel is near Ajanta signal, about 1 km from the beach, and there's some traffic around. An auto-rickshaw to the shore usually costs ₹100-₹150. Kamatchi Temple is close by, and Manam Mess is a 400m walk if you want a local meal.

We spent two days at Hotel Atithi, Pondicherry and had a very pleasant visit. The staff were courteous and helpful, and the service was very nice. We also liked the complimentary breakfast and the hotel amenities. We really enjoyed staying here and highly recommend it.

The hotel's location is a plus: it's on the road leading straight to black rock beach, which is within walking distance, and it's in the middle of town for getting around. Still, this place was just average and not somewhere I'll remember. We visited on a weekend and it was empty, which says something about its popularity. I found the same-day online price cheaper than what I paid after booking two weeks ahead. The restaurant was average, with prices on the high side for the ambience. The rooms and amenities need attention, and there was seepage in the room, so don't expect anything special. It could work if you can't find another option.
