The hotel is centrally located, and the beach is close enough to walk to, which was a big plus. I stayed at Hotel Sun Park, Pondicherry last weekend and had a pleasant time. The room was clean and comfortable, good value for the money, and the food I ordered tasted good. A comfortable, budget-friendly option in Pondicherry. I'd recommend it.

It does the job if you only need a place to sleep and leave your luggage. Nothing fancy, and the staff weren't especially friendly, though they weren't rude either. The mattress was comfortable, linens were clean, and both the room and washroom were tidy. Hot water was available, the AC worked fine, and Wi-Fi was fast.

The room was decent and clean, but there was no drinking water or coffee or tea provided. Although I booked breakfast with the room, it was served at the neighboring hotel karthik, not this hotel, and the taste, quantity, and quality were all very poor. I'd book room-only. The beach and promenade are walkable, and there are many vegetarian restaurants nearby, as well as aurobindo ashram and vinayagara temple.

The main downsides were weekend noise around the hotel and Wi-Fi that was a bit inconsistent. For the price, though, it felt worthwhile. Hotel Sun Park is convenient for the city center, the beach, and White Town, and the rooms were clean, maintained, and had basic amenities. The bed was comfortable, and the AC worked perfectly in Pondy's weather. Staff were polite and helpful, service was prompt, and check-in and checkout were easy. There’s also a small in-house restaurant with decent food. A good budget stay for families or couples visiting Pondicherry.

This is my third stay here when I visit pondicherry. The hotel is wonderful, the service is very good, and the room is neat and clean.
