The receptionist was very helpful, and there’s a good vegetarian hotel right next door for breakfast. Markets are also within walking distance. The rooms are spacious, the washroom was clean, hot and cold water was available, and the AC worked fine. It’s an affordable place, with covered ground-level parking for 2-3 vehicles. The lane is very narrow, so getting a car in or out can be tricky. Service could be better, there’s no in-house restaurant, and parking may be tight when more than three vehicles arrive.

We had to wait for bathroom water until 6:30 AM, even though I’d told the manager the night before that we planned to check out early. In the early morning, nobody was available in person or by phone. Water supply was a problem, and the service was lousy. Parking is difficult too: four cars can fit in a narrow line, but if the third needs to leave, the first two have to be moved. Not at all worth the money.

Mr. Prakash, the General Manager, deserves a special mention for his hospitality, from booking through checkout. The staff were always welcoming and polite, and the rooms and restrooms were clean and hygienic. There’s space for two-wheelers to park, and the place is centrally located for visiting the tourist sights. A safe, comfortable stay with all the amenities, at an affordable cost.

The staff were helpful, the room was clean, and check-in and checkout didn’t involve filling out unnecessary forms. For the price, it’s a good hotel. The main headache is the location: it’s in a cramped jewellery-market area on a one-way street, where you can’t even stop for a moment. There is parking, but space is limited to about 3-4 cars parked one behind another, so getting the car at the back out means moving the others. Be careful if you’re arriving by car.
