Being so close to the railway station is the one real plus. The rooms were below standard, with old linens, mosquitoes everywhere, and an AC that barely worked. There wasn't even a mat by the washroom, and toilet supplies weren't provided. Sheets and towels came only if we asked, and even then they weren't fresh. Not worth the money, and I won't return.

We'd booked a month ahead, but there were no rooms available when we arrived. We waited far too long. A really bad experience.

The rooms are decent, so it could work for a trip with friends. Just know there isn't a private balcony, and people on the balcony can look into the room.

Rock beach is within walking distance, and you can walk to french street too. The hotel is also near the railway station. A good place to stay.

The pillows were so hard that sleeping on them wasn't comfortable, and the bed and sheets were stained and in poor condition. Mosquitoes greeted us, and the room still stank even after we sprayed air freshener.
