Le Poshe Luxury - TIE Hotels

After all payments had been made, the manager came to my room at midnight, shouted, and demanded another ₹2,000. I was made to pay by QR code, but the next morning they wouldn't give me a receipt for it. Very suspicious and unprofessional behavior. Stay at your own risk. When I asked for the bill, they said I had to pay an extra 15% for GST. I don't know why, since it's only 5%.

The lobby was impressive, and the staff, hygiene, and general cleanliness were good. The room's AC worked well too. The coffee was really good, but we took breakfast outside the next day after the included breakfast arrived very late. We had to ask aggressively before it was served, and waiting wasted a lot of our time, energy, and peace of mind. We were offered a small rooftop room, with barely any space beyond the bed, and its TV didn't work. We were three people, but foreigners and larger families seemed to get priority. Parking could be a problem even when the hotel was only 50% booked. It was an okay stay at Le Poshe, not a wonderful one. You could book it with those things in mind.

They kept ₹25,000, and after that their attitude changed. I asked for a refund because they didn't provide what had clearly been promised, but they refused. There was no accountability or solution, just excuses, delays, and silence. From the time I booked, they made promises about services, arrangements, and conditions, and none of them came true. This felt like blatant false promises to get my money, not a misunderstanding. If anything goes wrong, expect stonewalling and gaslighting rather than help. This place shows no ethics or professionalism. Save yourself the stress, anger, and financial loss. There are plenty of hotels that respect guests. This isn't one of them.

I stayed for one night and had an amazing time. It's close to the city centre, and the rates are really cheap. The breakfast in the morning was exquisite too. Highly recommend it to anyone coming to Pondicherry.
