My child and I stayed in room number 306 and had a pleasant visit. It was quiet, clean, and well maintained, with toiletries and a mini fridge in the room. The bathroom was clean and had 24-hour hot water, and I had no water issues. They cleaned the room when requested, and there were no insects or cockroaches. Check-in and check-out were hassle-free. I’d suggest improving the car parking facility. If you’re weighing up negative reviews, consider visiting once before deciding.

There was no water coming from the taps, and a strong damp, seepage smell throughout the poorly maintained building made the stay very uncomfortable. Even though my online booking was confirmed, it was cancelled and I was asked to book offline at almost double the price. That felt unfair and unprofessional. There’s no parking either, so keep that in mind if you’re bringing your own vehicle. Based on what happened to me, I’d advise being cautious when booking with this chain, Le Mirage / Le Mystic.

For a two-night stay with friends, we had no issues with the room or the staff. It’s a place you could consider for a friends’ getaway.

The room itself was spacious, but the basics were missing. Our suite with a balcony had no doorbell, landline, or card-access lock, and the TV didn’t work. There was just one bottle of water for three people, and the minibar was empty. We asked for another bottle on checkout after two days and got one. The bathroom was in poor shape too: the shower handle was stiff and noisy, the water pressure was bad, and there was no shower curtain. My 10-year-old daughter couldn’t manage the shower and had to use a bucket. The hotel was being renovated, with big sacks around reception and a constant paint smell. Service was practically absent: nobody helped with luggage, there was no daily housekeeping, and the staff had no proper uniforms or a place to rest. One night we even found staff sleeping on the floor by the entrance. The receptionist and staff also asked for tips for accompanying us to the room and seeing us off. The restaurant was closed, and there was no tea or coffee service. The whole atmosphere felt grim and unwelcoming. A big no to this hotel.

They cancelled our Agoda booking without telling us. When we arrived, we were told it had been cancelled. An hour later, the manager offered a room if we paid extra. As tourists, we felt we had no choice, and they charged us double. I heard the same had happened to three other tourists that day. They also may not provide a GST bill. This felt like a total fraud. Never book here, they’ll cheat you.
