The resort has a peaceful little-village feel, like being out in the quiet countryside. Our rooms were comfortable, and the staff were attentive and quick to handle special requests. The welcome was warm, and we enjoyed all the meals, from lunch and dinner through breakfast. The beach is clean and wide, with buggy rides and paragliding available nearby. We had a great stay and would highly recommend it for a peaceful getaway.

The food was great, and the whole stay felt calm and relaxing. The resort is spacious and serene, with a real paradise-like atmosphere. The beach beside it is one of the best in Pondy, and it seems especially good for families with kids. We stayed one day, though I thought two would be better.

The meals were a mixed experience. Breakfast had a surprisingly good spread, much better than the à la carte, but lunch was disappointing. The chicken, prawns, and fried rice tasted poor and cost over ₹2300. There's no kids' menu, which is surprising for a family resort, and milk is the only child-friendly option. Wi-Fi in the rooms was very weak and slow. The property itself felt stunning, luxurious, and peaceful for our family road trip. The private beach was clean and easy to reach, and the pool was well kept, though they are strict about nylon swimwear. My daughter loved the lawn and play area. I'd come for the beach and pool, but would recommend eating main meals elsewhere.

The people who make Le Pondy what it is were the real highlight for us, warm and humble, and they made sure our families had everything they needed, including special requests. Abraham, Bipin, and the chef deserve a special mention for patiently listening to all of them. We held our wedding there in November 2025, and the hotel was beautiful, with greenery everywhere and lovely upkeep. It all feels like a dream now. Next time we're in Pondicherry, we'd love to return and enjoy the facilities we didn't get time for.

The restaurant served delicious food, and Bala Murugan, the F&B Manager, took special care with our tastes. For the birthday celebration, he even arranged a cake and lovely decor as a kind gesture. Le Pondy sits on the outskirts of Pondicherry and has a private beach. It's a quiet property where you can settle in and relax without wanting to go out. Our sea view room had a separate sit-out, which was great, and it was clean with all the amenities. Rates were a bit higher because we went in peak season, but I still felt it was worth the money. I'd definitely recommend staying here.
