Edha Homestay

Amy really made the stay at Edha Home Stay special. We were a bit overwhelmed with our itinerary, and she helped with local recommendations for places to eat and things to do in Andaman. Her suggestions made sightseeing easier and more enjoyable. She also helped book a scooty and checked that we were comfortable. Her warmth made us feel like family. The property itself is carefully maintained, with attractive interiors that mix modern comfort with a homely feel. The spacious rooms and green entrance with healthy planters were spotlessly clean and hygienic. It felt like a peaceful escape from the city, while still being close to places like Cellular Jail. One of the highlights of my Andamans trip. I'd happily stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Port Blair.

Amy made us feel so welcome, and Maditla and Chandan were humble, helpful, and proactive. The breakfast was really tasty, too. Edha felt safe and like a home away from home, with beautiful rooms, premises, service, people, and all those plants! We stayed for 3 nights, from 15th-18th Feb, and had booked two Luxury rooms. Amy upgraded one to a Family room, and both rooms were lovely. We enjoyed our stay and would book it without hesitation.

Ms. Amy Flora was warm, polite, and helpful, and Ms. Madilta, Ms. Clarens, Mr. Chandan, and Mr. D’souza all deserve thanks for their dedication. Food wasn't included, but the homestay was so comfortable and attractive that it didn't feel like a compromise. Near Marine Hill in Port Blair, the location was peaceful and scenic while still very close to the airport. The rooms were spotless, well maintained, and thoughtfully designed, with a premium feel that wasn't hard on the pocket. A lovely mix of budget pricing, homey comfort, and luxury-like facilities. Recommended for anyone visiting Port Blair.

There's no lift, and the rooms are on the second floor. The property is also tucked into a back lane, though once inside it feels like home. Still, Aberdeen Bazaar is walkable if you're up for it, and we enjoyed an evening stroll there. We had a very spacious family room, and the property was extremely well maintained. The interior decor was lovely, with the owner's classy taste showing through. Service was courteous and responsive. I also appreciated the host's attention to little details, like making sure a family of five had the basic amenities they needed. A peaceful place close to the market, worth exploring if that's what you're looking for.
