We stayed here with family back in 2012, and it was a lovely budget-friendly place. We booked the full travel package, so they arranged everything from the airport transfer to the hotel and our daily tours. The owner and staff were wonderful, and the rooms were clean and well kept. Nice people prepared the breakfast and dinner, both of which were lovely.

We spent four days here with family in April 2024 while visiting portplair. The owner of Galaxy hotel, Bro. Vinish, and his father were friendly and gave us good guidance. The price was good, the atmosphere was very nice, and the stay felt pleasant and homely.

We found the local car tours they arranged satisfactory and enjoyable, and the hotel is easy to spot from the road and well positioned. Inside, there’s a nice atmosphere, and the staff are friendly. The service was good and effective, with reasonable prices for a budget hotel. A good place for a weekend in Port Blair with friends or family.

I enjoyed staying here. The staff were good, and Chitra mam was especially helpful and cooperative. There’s homely food available, and the airport is about 5-6 KM away. They can also plan a holiday for you if you contact them directly. Thanks again to mam.

The food here was excellent and tasted just like home, and Shiba and the other staff were wonderful. Uncle ji is so sweet too. Chitra Di, the owner of Hotel galaxy port blair(Bathu Basti), arranged our whole Andaman trip, including Portblair / havelock/ neil / Baratang etc., at a very reasonable cost. We’re very thankful for her hospitality and had an unforgettable trip. If anyone’s planning to visit Andaman, contact Chitra Di directly. I suggest staying at hotel Galaxy.
