The food tasted good, though it took a while. I had dinner once and breakfast twice. There was no spread at breakfast, you ate what they brought. Rooms are small, even for Deluxe, and there are three Deluxe variants listed in their own gallery. My bathroom had no exhaust fan and was so cramped there wasn't room for toiletries. The room had no fridge, the AC took a long time to cool, and the TV had no free channels. If you're travelling with a kid, this is a big no, since the extra cot they provide is hard to sleep on. They only take cash, and told me to pay extra. Gpay and card were out of the question.

We were six adults and three kids staying two nights, and the experience was really disappointing. The pool was unusable, with bits and debris floating in the water. The washrooms had no ventilation, so an unpleasant smell hung around throughout our stay. Food quality was average, but service was extremely slow. We waited almost an hour after ordering, hard to deal with when travelling with children. For our Baratang visit, they packed a breakfast that wasn't even edible: sandwiches with only cabbage and carrots, no boiled eggs despite promising them at booking, and very poor quality fruit. Service management was a problem too. There's no dedicated room service staff, the receptionist handles it as well, causing delays and inconvenience. Breakfast choices were very limited, and staff even refused to warm the food a little when asked. This is a very poor-category hotel with highly unsatisfactory service. I wouldn't recommend it to families looking for basic comfort and hygiene.
The staff were professional and easy to deal with, and the service met what I expected. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the property was well cared for. I’d consider it a good option for either a short visit or a longer stay.
Jyothi from reservations was especially helpful, polite, and quick to respond. She made arranging the booking easy, and another member of the reservation team was efficient and cooperative too. At the hotel, reception was warm and professional, and check-in and help during our stay went smoothly. We enjoyed the rooftop restaurant at Driftwood Hotel, Andaman. It had a peaceful feel, and the food was excellent. The hospitality and service made the stay memorable. I’d recommend it to people visiting Andaman.
The rooms are small compared with other hotels nearby, and construction on the 1st floor may bother some guests. The wooden flooring also needs a lot of repair, the TV subscription wasn’t working properly, and room service could be slow at times. There are some good points too: the rooms are compact but decent and have plenty of features. The rooftop restaurant serves food with a serene view, and the small swimming pool is a real plus.
