Hotel SR Castle

The location is a little far out. On arrival we got bottled water, then the next day they gave us a refill bottle and said it was RO water. My issue isn't the water, it's hygiene. How can a used bottle be handed to another guest? At least use a jug. The breakfast buffet was poor. There was only one staff member, the batura came with aloo sabzi but there was no stuffed paratha, and the sambhar was cold. Hotels should stop offering a complimentary buffet if they can't manage and deliver it. It's not really complimentary anyway, since we pay the tariff agreed for CP, Map, or Ap.

We truly enjoyed the rooms at SR Castle. I booked two Super Deluxe rooms for one night in December 2025, and management kindly upgraded us to their top-tier Suite rooms with bathtubs. They were spacious, well equipped, and had private balconies, which made for a pleasant stay after a tiring, hectic trip. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the staff were polite and courteous. The food was delicious, although service was a bit slow. I was told some staff were on leave during our stay. The location is convenient, with a grocery shop right next door and the airport just a 5-10 minute drive away. Overall, a great hotel with excellent staff, food, and rooms.

The rooms were well maintained, and the place was very quiet with a peaceful atmosphere. I stayed at SR Castle for two days and had a great experience. Cleanliness was top-notch, the location was excellent, and the amenities were good. Staff were friendly, polite, and helpful, and service went smoothly. Highly recommended. Ashok Chennai

The food was great, with plenty of variety and good taste. I especially recommend the Pomfret fry. The staff were super polite and helpful, and Sumanta Sen deserves a huge shoutout. We booked super delux rooms, which were spacious and comfy, and clean too. We were upgraded to suite rooms for our last day, and those were amazing, with a bathtub and all the facilities. Had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this hotel.
