The main problem for me was the small room, which had no ventilation at all, so the air felt stale and humid. Still, the staff were helpful and courteous, and the free pickup and drop-off made getting around easier. Breakfast was included too, which saved time and added value. When the power went out, some kind of generator or inverter handled it, though I’m not sure which. The stay was pleasant overall.

There’s no lift, and the rooms and facilities are on the second and third floors. From the back road, though, the second floor and parking are wheelchair-accessible. The hotel provides free pickup and drop-off from Port Blair Airport. Its location is convenient, with most attractions roughly 2 km away. There’s food service at the property, and two restaurants nearby.

We were seven family members and stayed for a week, and everyone was comfortable. The large six-bed family room worked well for all of us to have dinner together, and it’s the better choice for elderly guests. Our smaller double room still had the basics: hot water around the clock, an LCD TV, working AC, and a clean Western toilet. We enjoyed tasty, hot vegetarian and non-vegetarian dinners at reasonable prices. The hotel is close to the market and airport, with Joggers Park within walking distance. Wi-Fi was free, but connectivity around Port Blair was unreliable, so neither Wi-Fi nor mobile data worked well. We’d recommend the hotel.

If you’re traveling on a budget and want good value, this place is worth considering. The manager is friendly and can arrange a rental scooter quickly at competitive rates. I also enjoyed talking with the owner, who knows a lot, so don’t miss a chance to chat with him. When I visited in Sept 2018, the rooms looked a bit old, especially the bathroom, which had a small leak. A new wing and room refurbishing were underway then.

A budget-friendly option close to the airport and Port Blair’s main tourist spots. The rooms and washrooms were well maintained, with AC and a geyser, and the owner was very cooperative.
