OYO 10180 Hotel Value

I stayed for six days, and the place was awesome. The food was beyond words, with generous portions. I tried both the veg and non-veg thalis, including matar paneer, and haven't had food this good at any hotel. The staff were super helpful and polite. The rooms and washrooms were quite clean, and the AC worked well.

The food was fresh and really stood out. They only buy the ingredients and cook after you place an order, so if you want non-veg, order by 7:30 at the latest to give them time to make it. The staff made my stay memorable.

The hotel is out on the edge of Port Blair, with no nearby market or restaurants, and there isn't a proper dining area. The room they gave us was next to reception and the storeroom. The bed creaked with every movement and felt really bad. When booking through MMT, they showed us two or three of their best rooms, and the good reviews helped convince me. The room we got was the worst one, and I felt fooled. The owner was very friendly when we arrived, but once I said I wasn't happy with the room, he seemed reluctant to help and disappeared, leaving us to ask Arif, the only attendant, who wasn't able to help. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel and looking near the jetty or airport.

There isn't a market nearby where you can go to eat, and the bathroom wasn't maintained properly. The water flow was poor, and instead of draining away it ran toward the room. Everything else was fine, but lunch and dinner took two hours. I asked for dinner at 7 pm and it arrived at 9:30 pm. Very surprising.
